Following Up: Meet Annabelle Eisenmann, 2021 MIASP Scholarship Winner
Meet Annabelle, our 2021 Eddie Chambers Scholarship Winner!
We asked Annabelle what she’s been up to since she received our college scholarship in 2021. Annabelle is a student at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA, and she is studying Special Education with a concentration in severe disabilities within all grade levels. During her first semester at BSU, Annabelle played indoor intramural co-ed soccer (check out her team pic below)! In addition to playing soccer, Annabelle became a clinician with the on-campus program, Children Physical Developmental Clinic, which works with individuals ages 18 months to 18 years with all disability variations. The program is 8 weeks long and is centered around building a one-on-one relationship between the individual and clinician to help them be successful. Finally, Annabelle joined and was initiated as a member of the sorority Gamma Phi Beta, Epsilon Eta Chapter!

What is life like in Gamma Phi Beta? Hear from Annabelle herself:
Through Gamma Phi, we focus on the core values of Love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty. We partner with the national philanthropy of Girls on the Run to work on ‘Building Strong Girls’ and the local philanthropy of the BSU Children Physical Developmental Clinic on campus. Gamma Phi participates in activities such as REAL wellness week where it is all about focusing on yourself and doing what is best for your mental health. We do fundraisers like a 48 hour ‘Rock-A-Thon’ to raise money for our local philanthropy. We attend the annual Girls on the Run 5k Race. Finally, Gamma Phi prioritizes building lifelong friendships and amazing sisters.
It sounds like Annabelle is up to some amazing things at BSU and MIASP is proud to support her as she gets her degree!

The 2022 Eddie Chambers Scholarship Program is live and open to NH high school and college students. There are two scholarships being offered this year, one $1,500 scholarship for NH high school seniors and one $1,500 scholarship for NH accredited college students. Specific application information can be found on our website. All scholarship applications are due June 1, 2022!
