2023 Eddie Chambers 5k
After an incredibly successful 5k in 2022, MIASP is excited to announce the 2023 Eddie Chambers 5k will take place this year on May 27th, 2023! The event takes place from 10am to 2pm EST at Livingston Park in Manchester, NH. and is in honor of Manchester student Eddie Chambers, who died by suicide in 2016. Registration for this event will open on Friday, January 27th, 2023! Proceeds from the race will go to support M.I.A.S.P. and our mission to raise awareness around mental illness, work to prevent suicide, and support those in need throughout New Hampshire. In previous years, proceeds from events have gone to create a scholarship fund for NH students, an anonymous fund at the Greater Manchester Mental Health Center, as well as support of other local non-profit organizations that support mental health services in our community.
This year, funds will specifically feed a new fund at the Greater Manchester Mental Health Center dedicated to providing Manchester teens with accessible mental health resources. Our generous goal of $20,000 from this event will allow us to create and continuously replenish this fund, create new funds throughout the state, and build programs throughout Manchester to help youth access the resources they need.
REGISTRATION INFO:
Early Bird (1/27/23-3/31/23): $20 for adults, $17 for 12 and under/62 and over
Regular (4/1/23-5/25/23): $25 for adults, $22 for 12 and under/62 and over
On site (5/27/23): $30
